  1. Leah! I pre-ordered the book and I can’t wait to get it. I actually learned about your blog and book through dooce.com and then of course I got hooked. I hope all is well at the new place, I know how stressful it can be to move. We had to move when I was 8 months pregnant. Not fun at all! There are still boxes in the closet that we have no idea when we’ll get to and my daughter is almost 18 months already!

    Take care.

  2. It’s in my hands now! This is so exciting! Is it wrong if I skip ahead and read your first? Seriously. That’s what I want to do. And how come Jane gets to see you? I know, she probably doesn’t live in San Francisco like I do. Poop.

  3. Wow! wow! wow! congratulations to you! I am truly happy for you. I’ll order it after I move– I’m getting rid of books at the moment 🙂 but I just turned in a bunch of change – 85 dollars worth- turned into a gift card for Amazon (yay Coinstar!) but you’ll have to come to Albuquerque to sign it for me!!!

  4. I thought I was one of the smart ones……I PREORDERED mine so that I’d get a jump on the millions who wait til the last minute………and now my book is on back order already, due to the millions who fly by the seat of their pants.

If I hadn’t PREORDERED, I’d already have it read by now. Waaaaaaaaaaa

  5. I just finished reading the book last night after it arrived on my doorstep yesterday from Amazon. Beautiful piece. Thank you so much for sharing it.

  6. I haven’t ordered it yet, but I plan to because of you, you, you!

You probably don’t know this, but I admire you and your writing so very much. To call you a friend on top of that? It’s a sweet thing indeed.

  7. I just finsihed reading the book. I was under the impression that Heather Armstrong had written the entire book. I was so happy to see other authors represented who I am familiar with through their blogs. Honey, it would do you good to hear about the childhood that I have kept secret……….for 60 years. What we bury alive never dies. Some day, maybe I’ll find someone with the stamina, or inclination, to listen to me.
    God bless you.

  8. Now that I have devoured this book, I’d love to read yours. Any suggestions of how to get my hands on one? Amazon would like muchas dinero….is it for sale or trade anywhere else? thanks.
