Your participle is dangling.”
Well, that explains a lot.
Tonight, Joe and I are going to the Geek Dinner. Anyone else going?
Also, I added the new front page for Project Cathartic. I’m still working on the religious survey questions, but they are SO going to get done before the end of my lifetime, I swear.
Today is one of those days that I could spend only crying and wiping my nose. Instead, I may do laundry and shower. It’s a toss up.
A tad late to the party here, but I would totally do the survey. I ran naked around my college campus, so I feel ready for it.
Luurve the Project Cathartic concept. Art therapy – das eeees gut! If I’d had my head on straight way back when, I might’ve become a dance therapist. Similar concept, although much harder to do on-line.
I’d totally be all over taking part in the survey. I’m always willing to give my opinions. Unfortunately, it’s often when no one asks.
Hmph.
Also, I want to leave a comment regarding The Geek Dinner. My comment follows:
I’m totally jealous. Dallas has nothing like this. Dallas doesn’t even have blogger meet-ups. Dallas sucks.
The end.
I want to cry, too. My hormones are dripping out of my ear and eye sockets. Send relief. Fast.
funny, I feel that way today too….
not sure that I can figure out a reason; just seems to be kinda sad and depressing.
Hey jes… not sure who started the geek dinner thing, but down here in San Diego we have Sandiegoblog.com and SanDiegobloggers.com both started by Mr. Joe artlung.com. Maybe he can give you some tips on starting up your own geeky thing in Dallas… there has got to be a bunch of geeks in Dallas!
i’m also totally late on the invitation, since i’ve only been reading you for a few weeks but if it’s still open i’d be in – if you’re interested in learning what happens when a couple both raised in church and even sent to religious schools raises their child with absolutely no religion at all.
🙂
Question! Why are all (most) dinners Greek? I have never even seen a Greek resteraunt, but every single dinner around here is Greek. I have always wondered if there is a reason for this and whenever I bring it up my other half looks at me like I am crazy. In any case enjoy your dinner.
I hope things brighten. :o) You are always doing the most interesting projects with your blog. I’ll have to look into this new one.
On another note. I didn’t realise your book was finished already. For some reason I thought you were in the middle of writing it and then today I noticed it up there on the side.
Hopefully I’ll be able to buy it soon. I had mentioned it to my other half and she was very interested in reading it. She is working on getting her Masters in Phycology so many of her classes talk about DDNOS. I think it would be great for her to read your account.
Yes, it’s entirely freakish, but doing laundry IS cathartic for me. Where there is a beginning, middle, and end to it (and ironing – oh, god, how I love to iron) I can’t seem to put the clean, folded clothes away. They are surrounding me right now.
So, I vote laundry.
