Point Loma Cliffs

Lunch with the ladies in Point Loma, as one is wont to do when they live in San Diego. You’ll see both Margot and Susan below. Margot is the lovely one in the red hat with the great smile. And Susan is the lovely one in the black hat with the great smile that makes me WORK SO HARD to find it. It is worth it, though, even when she’s smiling in spite of herself.

Tony, The Photographer

I spent some time with the boys over the weekend and as per usual, I got the camera out. It’s possible Tyler had had enough.

Tony tried a different tack. He took the camera and tried his shutter-finger for a few. He kept the camera down by his side while we walked and just started snapping shots as we passed people, trying to look all nonchalant. There turned out to be a few good ones, but he totally got caught once. He did succeed in taking what turned out to be a pretty good photo of me, though.

Brothers

I went back and forth on posting these. Joe’s grief is so apparent that it rips my heart. However, Bas’s paws/legs and Joe holding him in just this way, so tender, are too sweet. This was how they hung out together every evening.

Tiny Fruit & Flowers

I bought the last few strands of Czechoslovakian-made glass fruit and flowers on wrapped wire available in my area. According to the store owner, they can’t get it any more. I hope that isn’t true, because I love them SO MUCH.
